Lawrence Mei is one of the co-founders of Hugz and leads the customer experience, where he is focused on designing and creating the best possible experience for every customer. With a background in design and user experience, Lawrence has always been fascinated by the little details that can turn an ordinary interaction into something people remember. At Hugz, Lawrence gets to combine two things he loves most: creating experiences people genuinely enjoy and building something that can make someone’s day a little better. He is constantly thinking about everything from how a Hugz feels when it arrives at someone’s door to the packaging, storytelling, digital experience, and all the small moments in between. Lawrence believes that great experiences go far beyond the product itself. They are about creating genuine moments of care, connection, and support. Through design, creativity, and purpose-driven partnerships, he helps shape Hugz into a brand that makes emotional wellness feel more approachable, accessible, and human.
