Leah Smith is a co-leader of the Tape Art movement, which she helped pioneer alongside Michael Townsend in Providence, Rhode Island in 1989. For over three decades she has traveled the world creating large-scale collaborative tape murals in cities, schools, corporations, and healing centers, bringing communities together through the shared experience of making art. From Hong Kong to Germany to Greece, Leah and Michael have brought the transformative power of tape art to thousands of people and spaces around the world.
