Founder & Executive Director, Override Labs

Priya Nakra is the founder and Executive Director of Override Labs, a nonprofit building prevention technology to reduce sexual violence and gender-based harm, online and off. Before founding Override Labs, Priya spent a decade leading product at Netflix, Nova Credit, and Blend. She builds ito (is this ok?), an anonymous AI tool where young people talk through sexual situations that felt off and get an honest read without shame. ito has been used in more than 1,000 sessions, and in studies with young men, 42% came away reading their situation more cautiously. She also builds tools for girls and young women, parents, and bystanders, plus AI scanning tools that help developers find the ways their products can be misused to cause harm.
